New blue top, horsehair interliner and wool headliner, after stripping all removable parts and properly priming it was lacquer-painted in DB colors with blue fenders and red body, new DB red leather, continental spare, wwsw, luggage set, and s/v mirror. 1955 220 Cabriolet A in Southern California car since 1960 but mostly not driven because of new owner’s tinkering. Now almost completely restored to original high standards: new grey leather, new grey wool Wilton carpet, new 6.40 wide white side-wall tires, new brake shoes and cylinders, front wheel hubs rebuilt with new seals, both doors rebuilt with new structural wood and now as per original condition, sealed beam headlamps, new “gummi unterlagen” between good chrome and the blue lacquer paint, and now (11/01) awaiting re-installation of its freshly rebuilt motor. $Inquire.
